What is Carers Week?
Every year there is a whole week that everyone gets together to celebrate all of the carer's hard work, dedication, and the contribution they provide to the community.
This year everyone is coming together to
MAKE CARING VISIBLE AND VALUED
to show appreciation for unpaid carers, recognition, and raise awareness.
Carers week is from the 7th - 13th June 2021 and its main importance is to value our carers for the contribution they provide, not just this week but throughout the whole year!
Lots of people throughout the year come across many challenges especially over the last year with COVID-19. Carers can help people with caring responsibilities like assisting with dressing, cooking, cleaning, or even go shopping. This is where carers come together to help and support people to maintain their independence and quality of life.
There are many ways you can get involved with Carers Week 2021, including pledging your support, seeing local activities, and much more. You can contact Anglia Care on 01473 719 185, or email us with any questions you may have to firstname.lastname@example.org.
So, please join Anglia Care in congratulating all the 6.5 million carers throughout the UK that work hard every day to provide the help, care, and support that people need on a day-to-day basis.
Anglia Care caters to all these differences.... Because your care is our No.1 priority and just in case you're still not sure if we are your No.1 choice, we have been rated good for the Care Quality Commission award and features on carechoices.co.uk.
